Hi Folks,
I wanted to send out a little note to wrap up our season. The players are planning a gathering this Tuesday (May 7), one last time as a team. Word was put around on facebook apaprently....I was out of this loop. There will be more details to follow today.
Message to the players...
It has been my priviledge to be part of your hockey experience this past season. We were able to take 19 individual personalities and create a cohesive unit especially down the stretch. As the season move on, we worked together and supported each other. I want to thank you for your hard work and commitment. It has been a rewarding experience for me. My hope is that you may have learned some new things about hockey and maybe even a little about life. Do not forget to thank your parents for all that they do! Remember is all that you do, you will get out of it, whatever you want to put into it.
Message to the parents...
We need a team on the ice and we need one off the ice. Thank you to all parents for their support over the season. When you have a great parent community, the season just runs so much more smooth. I believe our parent group was a huge asset to our team.
There are many people that contributed in other ways throughout the season....I want extend a sincere thank for your efforts.....

Teri Negus for her work on the fundraising and organizing the Joe hospitality
Kenda Dolomont for coordinating the gift card basket
Tammy Billard for her fundraising work and taking care of the team finances.
Michele McElroy for one again putting up with me and managing the team (including the Funny Fundraiser). This is a huge demand on time and it is much appreciated!! Certainly made my job easier.
To Peter Nixon and Peter Dolomont. Couldnt have done it without you. Thanks for your input, guidance and wisdom. Coaching is a huge commitment and we made a great coaching team!
When you finish a season and feel good about what we all accomplished, I consider it a success. As I discussed with the players, success runs far beyond the score on the scoreboard. Hardwork, effort, and commitment will always be the path to success. This has been a truly rewarding experience for me. Thank you to players, coaches, and parents.
